We had thirty extras, the whole crew and lots of machinery today for our final scenes at the Dance Hall. We wrapped at 1.30am and promptly got drunk to celebrate what has been a wonderful shoot. Yea!!
Filmed in the Forest today with smoke and some real snow. Cold but well worth it.
We filmed some snow scenes today. The snow was unplanned.
We filmed some difficult scenes today. The cold did not help. In fact, it was so cold we decided to end early.
The three girls finally met on set for the first time today. All went well.
We were at the Railway Station to film some crowd scenes in the morning and then went to an abandoned Railway Track to do the story’s final scene.
Filmed the central scenes and the emotional pitch was high. Tears flowed.
Had twenty extras on the set today. Was not as trying as we had imagined.
Filmed in a concrete factory and landed up with lots of dirt and dust all over our clothes and equipment. The rain did not help.
We had a big crane on the set today. Our DP used it for one of the more important shots after the Opening Sequence and we were all really excited. At one point he was hovering twenty feet in the air over a river, and we could only marvel at his cool demeanour and poise. Definitely one of the highlights of our shoot.
